Demand for our advocacy service continues to exceed supply at both a domestic and international level where refugees and those on temporary visas seek help to advocate and/or make more effective representation on their behalf.
There are two streams to our advocacy work:
Local Advocacy includes working with and supporting our CALD communities including Parents, Youth, Elders and those on Temporary Protection and Safe Haven Enterprise Visa.
International Advocacy includes working with and supporting our international refugee population including:
✓ provide translation support for local proposers ✓ assist with interviews and administration tasks ✓ engage commercial and/or volunteer lawyers where needed to advise/support the application. ✓ find lost relatives in Australia
✓ advocacy planning including media, advocate partners, political leaders and more
